Graphic Design
If you don’t already have a graphic designer (and you don't have the software needed to design your own artwork), Second Encore Productions offers graphic design services for only $75 per hour, compared to $100 to $150 per hour from other replication companies. Rather than charge a flat rate per project (which usually means that you're probably paying more than you should), we will take a look at each project individually and give you the best rate at a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere.

Mastering
Mastering is the art of enhancing the audio on your CD before it is replicated. It can enhance the depth and resonance of a completed CD so as to optimize it for warmth and clarity of sound. It is therefore a crucial step in the final process of audio recording and can make the difference between a professional-sounding CD and an amateurish one.
Mastering takes a collection of tracks and creates a flawless flow from the first track to the last. This is especially true for music that is recorded over different periods of time as the level and tone of the music will vary. Mastering polishes the music to make it sound better, and ensures that your music sounds great regardless of where it is being played. Additionally, the equipment used during the mastering process is aimed at creating a good balance in your music.

If you get your CD mastered by somebody that isn't listed here, you owe it to yourself to make sure (before they start the mastering process) that your CD isn't just being run through a piece of cheap "mastering" software, which will only compress the crap out of your songs. Some of the other replication companies out there think that's good enough. We don't.
